Despite its short scale of 476 mm, the VOX Mini Guitar can be played in 0rmal tunings of E1, B2, G3, D4, A5, and E6 by using thicker strings. The 0rmal 3/4 string length combined with a 0rmal nut width allows the guitar to be played with the same feel as a 0rmal guitar. There is 0 need to rethink chord forms. Rather, you can take advantage of the short scale and have fun trying chords and fingerings that would 0rmally be difficult!

Custom pegs with an 18:1 gear ratio have been developed for the short scale, which often changes pitch due to increases and decreases in tension. Smooth tuning is possible just like on a regular guitar.
