Despite its short scale of 476 mm, the VOX Mini Guitar can be played in normal tunings of E1, B2, G3, D4, A5, and E6 by using thicker strings. The normal 3/4 string length combined with a normal nut width allows the guitar to be played with the same feel as a normal guitar. There is no need to rethink chord forms. Rather, you can take advantage of the short scale and have fun trying chords and fingerings that would normally be difficult!
■Custom pegs for smooth tuning
Custom pegs with an 18:1 gear ratio have been developed for the short scale, which often changes pitch due to increases and decreases in tension. Smooth tuning is possible just like on a regular guitar.
