At Live Music Malaysia, we know how exciting it is to receive new musical gear. To ensure your instrument or equipment is ready to perform right out of the box, our dedicated team carefully inspects every order before it is packed and handed over to the courier.

Our Instrument-Specific Quality Checks

Depending on the type of gear you purchase, our pre-shipping inspection covers the following detailed areas:

• Acoustic & Classical Guitars: We inspect the body, neck, and finish for any blemishes. We check the bridge for stability, ensure tuning pegs turn smoothly, and verify the fret edges and neck relief for comfortable playability.
• Electric Guitars & Basses: In addition to visual and structural checks, we test the electronics. We verify that pickups, pickup selectors, volume/tone pots, and the output jack are functioning perfectly without unwanted crackling or loose hardware.
• Keyboards & Digital Pianos: We power on the unit and test the keybed to ensure every single key responds correctly (including velocity sensitivity). We also check the buttons, knobs, display screens, and essential input/output ports.
• Drum Sets (Acoustic & Electronic): For acoustic drums, we inspect the shells, hoops, and hardware (lugs and tension rods) for structural integrity and pristine finish. For electronic drums, we test the drum module, pad triggers, and included cabling to ensure accurate response.
• Amps, PA & Pro Audio: We verify power connections, ensure that all control knobs and switches are secure, and check for clean audio output without factory defects.
• Accessory Verification: We ensure that all included factory accessories (cables, manuals, power supplies, tremolo arms, drum keys) are present in the box.

Secure Repacking

Once your item has passed our inspection, it is carefully placed back into its original packaging. We then add necessary protective materials—such as bubble wrap, foam, or outer shipping boxes—to safeguard your gear against bumps and drops during transit.

Note: Factory-sealed items from certain brands may remain unopened to preserve their original seal, but our team ensures the outer packaging is pristine and secure before shipping. If you have specific setup requests, please contact us prior to placing your order.
