Description

The SHURE's BETA98/S is a instrument microphone that's suitable for drums, congas, pianos, reeds, wind instruments, and string instruments on stage and in the studio. It has a 20Hz–20KHz tuned frequency response and a 125dB maximum sound pressure level (SPL). The pickup pattern is supercardioid, which means it has a lot of gain before feedback. There's a separate in-line preamplifier as well as a 25-foot detachable wire between the preamp and the mic. The pre-amp output is via a male XLR connection, and phantom power is required.
