And of course - they look great too! The JS series represents the best of Jackson's 30 years of axe building know how, and the JS3 Spectra Bass is no exception. You get killer tonewoods, and high-output electronics at a price that belies its performance.
The brand-new offset body style was designed for player comfort. The poplar body with large upper horn evenly distributes weight across the bass, reducing neck dive and providing perfect balance. A 12"-16" compound radius laurel fingerboard (with 24 frets) make for lightning-fast playability. Whatever style of music you play, the JS3 Spectra has it covered with dual Jackson medium-output humbucking pickups throwing out a massive low-end growl.
Your tone can be sculpted with the two-way toggle switch for pickup coil splitting, and the volume has a push/pull selector to bypass or engage the active circuit's 3-band EQ. Highly affordable, the Spectra Bass JS3 is available as a 4 string or 5 string bass, and comes in stunning finishes with black hardware and a unique 2x2 (or 3 x 2 on 5 string models) headstock with an understated "J" logo.
