The limited edition Buck Owens Kingman™ pays homage to one of country music’s greats, a pioneer of the Bakersfield sound and one of Fender’s first acoustic artists. As the co-host of the hit TV variety show Hee Haw in the late 1960s and ‘70s, Buck Owens famously played the guitars with red, white, and blue colour schemes.

Engineered with an innovative Performance X™ bracing pattern, the dreadnought body of the Fender Buck Owens Kingman™ is lightly crafted with a solid spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides to effortlessly produce a substantial, bass-filled voice with exceptional detail, projection and volume. An ergonomic modern "C" profile was chosen for the neck along with a 25.5" scale length for optimal sustain, and a tilt-back 6-in-line headstock with a painted headcap featuring logos inspired by original examples of Buck Owens signature guitars. Other notable details include a bound rosewood fingerboard with pearloid block inlays for a throwback look, vintage-style tuning machines for smooth, accurate tuning, and a bone nut and saddle for superior harmonic character. Designed for the performer, the onboard Fishman® Presys VT Plus preamp system features seamless soundhole-mounted controls that blend an undersaddle piezo and internal body transducer to allow faithful and reliable reproduction of the guitar's natural sound when plugged into an amplifier or recording device.
