MR730FX is a solid sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and mahogany sides, Ovangkol fingerboard. The classic dreadnaught body has a Venetian cutaway for easy high fret access and is equipped with Fishman Prefix Plus T electronics to deliver the MR’s natural acoustic sound to an amplification system for both live and recording applications.

 

Spruce provides an ideal balance between strength and flexibility, hence its overwhelming popularity as the wood of choice for tops of acoustic guitars. Spruce’s versatile sonic character makes it ideal for a variety of musical genres and playing styles. Bright yet natural with a strong and warm midrange, the beloved mahogany wood has been a standard for back and sides on premium acoustics for many decades. The solid mahogany back enhances body resonance and helps produce greater volume.

 

The high-tech finish is strong and resistant to scratches while being lightweight to improve the natural acoustic resonance of the body for a full-bodied and rich tone. With an 18:1 tuning ratio, these tuners ensure precise tuning adjustments with smoothness and the highest quality functionality. Features Pau Ferro and two Abalone rosettes for a unique look that adds a classy touch of modernity.

 

Crafted out of water buffalo bone for the most natural and transparent transfer of string vibrational energy into the body and neck. Featuring 4-band EQ, LED tuner, and phase notch control, this highly flexible Fishman system allows the player to tailor the natural sound of the instrument in any musical setting or environment with confidence.
