The San Dimas alder body is coupled with a bolt-on maple neck with a pair of graphite-reinforcement rods to resist bending and warping. The speed neck profile is designed for lightning-fast playing, with a hand-rubbed satin urethane back finish and comfortably rolled fingerboard edges for the broken-in feel of an instrument with plenty of miles on it and many more to go. The neck also has a 12"-16" compound radius maple fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets and a heel-mount truss rod adjustment wheel for quick and convenient neck relief tweaks.
High-output Seymour Duncan® JB and Seymour Duncan '59™ humbucking pickups are directly mounted to the body, cranking out high octane rock ‘n’ roll tone with plenty of sweet overtones. The volume control features push/pull coil splitting for even more tonal variations, while the no-load tone control operates as a standard tone control from positions one through nine and is removed from the circuit at position ten for a transparent sound that lets the full natural voice of the guitar shine through. With the Floyd Rose® 1000 Series double-locking tremolo bridge system, dive to the deepest depths without sacrificing tuning stability.
