Strymon wanted to do a limited run of some of their favourite pedals they’ve released over the years, each finished in a sleek black and white finish as dark as the midnight sky, complete with black knobs and a blacked-out box. Despite their minimalist styling, the sounds waiting to be released from these limited edition pedals are as colourful and inspiring as ever.

Compadre is a studio-quality analogue compressor with two distinct voices for smooth transparent compression or vintage squeeze. A dedicated Boost switch lets you add clean boost or soft-clipped dirty boost separately, with the EQ curve of your choice for greater tonal control. Pair that with an adjustable dry signal mix that allows you to keep more of the initial transient in the signal if you wish, and you get the key to your dream tone.

Additional features include full MIDI control, 300 presets and the industry’s best analogue VCA volume control (addressable via the expression pedal jack), combining the best of analogue sound and feel with digital flexibility.
