High-gain ceramic power meets budget-friendly double-cut style as Gretsch expands its entry-level Streamliner series.
Gretsch has officially brought its modern classic design—the CVT—into the budget-friendly Streamliner series. Packing heavy firepower at an incredibly accessible price point, the Streamliner CVT is engineered for players looking for massive riffs, high-gain punch, and a distinct aesthetic that stands out from typical entry-level instruments.
While the headstock proudly wears the Gretsch logo, the CVT leans into high-output versatility. Equipped with dual HotWire ceramic humbuckers at the neck and bridge, this double-cut guitar delivers tight low-end and searing solos—making it just as capable of handling heavy rock, metal, and drop tunings as classic indie and alternative styles.
Despite its aggressive edge, the CVT retains unmistakable Gretsch vintage DNA. It features a bevelled solid mahogany body that stays lightweight, paired with a bolt-on mahogany neck shaped to a user-friendly "Fast C" profile.
